2001 TEAM AWARDS

At the end of each season the Regian Rams take some time to honor their "OWN". the following individual awards are given out annually to the players most deserving, as chosen by the coaching staff.

• Regina Rams Gordon Currie Award - Presented to the "Individual who exemplifies the qualities of Leadership, Fellowship, Perserverance and Dedication to his team".

• Crestview Chrysler "Ram Tough" Award - Presented to the "Outstanding Linebacker".

Jeff Zimmer

• Bazzar & Novelty Award - Presented to the "Leading Scorer".

Jason Clermont

• Doug Griffith Memorial Award - Presented to the "Outstanding Defensive Back" Donated by the Griffith Family in recognition of Doug, who played with the Rams from 1966-69. 

Sheldon Gray

• Bruce Olesen Award - Presented to the "Outstanding Receiver".

Jason Clermont

• Sherwood Credit Union Award - Presented to the "Most Outstanding Special Teams Player".

Jon Ryan

• Les Ludwig Memorial Award - Presented to the "Most Outstanding Offensive Back" Donated by the Regina Real Estate Association in recognition of Les, who played for the Rams from 1973-76.

Neal Hughes

• Barker's Trophies Award - Presented to the "Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman".

Todd Krenbrink

• Don Tingle Award - Presented to the "Most Outstanding Defensive Lineman".

Kyler Jukes

• F.W. Barber Limited Award - Presented to the "Leading Tackler".

Jeff Zimmer

• Molson's Rookie of the Year Award - Presented to the "Most Outstanding Rookie".

Mike Kissinger

• Danka Canada - Presented to the "Most Valuable Player" as chosen by the players.
