Sisco
Canada West announced Monday that
University of Regina Rams wide receiver Jordan Sisco (pictured)
has been named its Offensive Player of the Week for the second
time this season.
Sisco had nine catches and set a Rams single-game record with 228
receiving yards during Regina's 35-16 win over the Alberta Golden
Bears. He rushed for two touchdowns in short yardage situations
and added a touchdown reception early in the third quarter.
In just his second year of CIS eligibility, Sisco is enjoying a
fine 2007 season. He ranks third in Canada West with 556
receiving yards and leads the league with eight touchdowns
scored. He was also named Canada West Player of the Week on Sept.
24.
The Rams have boasted a Canada West Offensive Player of the Week
in every game this year besides the team's season-opening loss to
Manitoba. Chad Goldie and Teale Orban (twice) have also been
recognized by the league.
The Rams (5-1) will put their five-game winning streak on the
line in Winnipeg this Saturday against the undefeated Manitoba
Bisons.
