In 1966 the Rams finished the regular season with 5 wins and 3 losses to give them 1st place in the Manitoba-Saskatchewan League. Overall, they finished the season with 8 wins and 3 losses and defeated the Notre Dame de Grace Maple Leafs 29-14 to win their first-ever National Championship.

In 1971 the Rams completed their first ever perfect season. After going 8 and 0 in the regular season the Rams won all playoff games by large margins. They defeated Winnipeg Hawkeyes 72-31 (2 game total point final); Edmonton Huskies 48-7 in Western semi-final and Vancouver Merelomas 34-12 in the western final. The Rams won the National Championship by solidly defeating the Burlington Braves 42-13.

In 1973 a 7 win and 1 loss regular season gave the Rams 1st place in the Man/Sask league. The Rams had a successful playoff run by defeating the Saskatoon Hilltops 88-42 in 2 game total point final, Vancouver Merelomas 30-28, and the Edmonton Huskies 19-17. The Rams would then go on to win the National Championship by defeating the Ottawa Sooners 9-0.

In 1981, the Rams finished the regular season 10 & 0 to ensure a 1st place finish in the Prairie Football Conference. The playoffs were stellar as the club won 33-10 over the Edmonton Huskies, 59-22 over the Vancouver Merelomas and 30-20 over the Winnipeg Hawkeyes. The season ended with a remarkable 15-0 record, with the Rams defeating the Hamilton Hurricanes 46-24 in the National Final.

In 1986 the Rams finished first place with a 7 wins and 1 loss. The Rams bettered the Saskatoon Hilltops 29-14 in the PFC final and the Richmond Raiders (45-28) to win the western championship. The Rams then went on again claim the National Championship by defeating the Ottawa Sooner 53-12.

In 1993 a decisive 43-12 defeat over the Hamilton Hurricanes secured yet another National Championship for the Rams. The regular season was also impressive with an 8-0 record. Rams were dominant during the playoffs beating the Saskatoon Hilltops 30-15 in the PFL Final and defeating the Surrey Rams 43-12 in the Western Final.

In 2000 the Rams second season of CIS football the team went 4 and 4 in the regular season and then eventually went on to a over all result of 7 wins and 5 losses. The Rams defeated the University of Manitoba 25-22 and then St. Mary's University 40-36 in the Atlantic Bowl to give them a berth in the Vanier Cup. In a nail-biter of a game, they narrowly lost to the Ottawa Gee-Gees * 42-39.

In 2008 Quarterback Teale Orban goes into his fifth and final year with a veteran support cast. The team looks to be quite similar to 2007 where the Rams went 6 and 2 in the regular season.
